| Acceptance of the application form does not guarantee acceptance to the school. |
| Parents are advised to seek admission early as places are frequently oversubscribed before the admission date. |
| In the year preceding proposed admission, parents will be contacted via email. If no correspondence is received from the school by June of the year preceding the admission year, it is the parents responsibility to contact the school |
How to Apply
| The Application Form must be accompanied by the following documents (certified copies): |
| 1. Learner’s birth certificate / passport |
| 2. Learner’s immunisation card |
| 3. Both Parents’ ID / passport Work permit |
| 4. Up-to-date proof of Income / Pay slips or 3 months bank statements |
| 5. Proof of Residence (electricity bill or rental contract |
| 6. Recent Report (Grade 1 – 6 ) Learner’s ID photo x 2 |
| 7. Pastor’s letter of recommendation |
| 8. R600 Registration fee (non refundable) |
| 9. R5 500 deposit as confirmation of acceptance |
Application Process
Receipt of the enrolment form by Durban Christian Centre School and the payment of R600 registration fee does not imply formal acceptance into the school.
The fully completed application form and registration fee must reach the admissions secretary before 28th June in the year preceding admission to Durban Christian Centre School in order for it to be considered as part of the first round of acceptances.
Application forms received after this date will be considered with the second round of acceptances (Term 4).
Application forms and registration fee for the second round of acceptances must reach the admissions secretary before 22nd September.
As part of the admissions process, both parents and the child will be interviewed. Grade 1-7 will do an entrance test prior to approval.
The school will notify you via email and/or SMS of its decision regarding acceptance/rejection before the end of the third term (for first round acceptances) or end of forth term (for second round acceptances).
Upon acceptance, a payment of R5000 will be required as confirmation of acceptance, of which R4000 will form part of the school fees payable and R1000 will go towards the Capital Development Fund
On the last day of the Final School Term proceeding admission, the transfer card and latest report must be handed to the admissions secretary

A) Registration Fee
This is a non-refundable fee of R600 and is payable on application for registration.
B) Tuition Fee Payments
Statements will be sent via email on the 1st of each month.
A special concession will be granted to parents with three or more children in school.
Annual option: Fees are payable in advance. The final day for Annual payment is the last day of January. (Proof of payment must be forwarded to finance@dccschool.co.za by 31st.)
Monthly option: Fees are payable in advance by debit order only. Dates for debit orders range from 1st to last day of the month as per parent’s preference. A charge will be levied for any debit order not provided for.
No cash payments accepted on the school premises.
C) Deposit
The deposit comprises of a once off amount of R1000 is payable with the deposit which does not go towards fees but into a fund for school improvements.
